The Split Back Day dress

  • It has a matching print Underlap which allows the dress to be slipped on without raising arms. It reduces over handling of the wearer and reduces the amount of lifting associated with normal clothing.
  • The dress length is long enough to fully cover our ladies when being moved, which allows them to maintain their dignity. The length is also an ideal for ladies in wheelchairs.
  • There are is no Velcro, no snaps, no working buttons. Just a clever design to provide maximum comfort when dressing.
  • Features a Dropped Waist, Extended Shoulder creating a soft sleeve look with Button trimmed Mock Front Opening.
  • Our dresses are made in a comfortable Aged Care friendly stretchy Interlock Knit, which washes well in Industrial Laundries.

Comfortable

Great style for my elderly aunt to wear due to its unique design.
Easy to get in and out of too.Soft fabric adds to comfort level. Colour does fade a little after multiple washes

Piece of mind design

Bought 4 dresses for my 83yo mum in a nursing home and has limited but painful shoulder movement. The split back design removes mum’s anxiety about hurting her shoulder while putting on a “regular” dresses/shirts. An added bonus is it overall dress design and material/pattern is exactly the same style mum wears - so the dress is not something she has to get used to. For these reasons the price is reasonable.
